Kronos Performing Arts Association $80,000 San Francisco, CA FIELD/DISCIPLINE: Music To support the commission and premiere of a new work performed by the Kronos Quartet that will explore the My Lai Massacre in Vietnam in 1968. The new work by composer Jonathan Berger and librettist Harriet Chessman will be scored for string quartet, voice, traditional Vietnamese percussion instruments, and digitally processed sounds. The featured soloists will be tenor Rinde Eckert and traditional Vietnamese musician Van-Anh Vo
