Annalisa Metta, installation (mixed media and photography)
Southward is an installation with photographs and sound – an imaginary travelogue of Rome going to Africa, by the incomprehensible scale of climate change, through visual and auditory minutiae. We do not contemplate dramatic transformations – flooding, drought, famine, etc. Instead, we think about paltry factors, seemingly insignificant disturbances that would slowly, but deeply, change the substance of the city.
