Meteora (1985)
Meteora (literally ‘suspended in the air’) is a fourteenth century monastery perched atop an impressive pinnacle on the Thessalian plain in Greece.
The four channel electroacoustic work was conceived at Stanford’s Center for Computer Research in Music and Acoustics. Meteora won the 1987 Bourges Prize.
